We save the email and quote data you provide when you unlock a report. We do not give it to an installer unless you separately and explicitly request one introduction.
What we collect
When you unlock a decision pack, we store your email, the calculator inputs, the resulting verdict and whether you separately opted into occasional updates. If you ask for an installer introduction, we also collect your name, mobile number and intended buying timeframe.
How we use it
Battery Quote X-Ray uses report data to provide the requested report, understand whether the tool is useful, improve quote benchmarks and respond to requests. Any benchmarking or published market analysis uses aggregated or de-identified information.
Optional Google Analytics is disabled until you accept the on-site analytics prompt. If accepted, it records aggregate usage and conversion events. It does not receive the quote form fields, email, name or phone number.
Installer introductions
An introduction is optional. If requested, we may share your report and contact information with one vetted installer that covers your area. We may receive a fee from that installer. A fee never changes your X-ray score, warnings or methodology.
Marketing and your choices
Unlocking a report does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Marketing requires its own optional selection. You can withdraw marketing permission or ask us to stop facilitating direct marketing at any time.
How long we keep information
Report and lead records are retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted or de-identified unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Privacy requests are retained for up to 24 months as an audit record.
Access, correction, deletion and questions
Use this secure form to access or correct your information, request deletion, withdraw marketing permission or ask a privacy question. We verify identity through the email connected with the record before releasing or changing personal information.
